Teresa May, Drew here from Beutler Ink. We find that LinkedIn works best if the CLV is $15k+ because like you say it’s so expensive! We look for click-through rate to indicate relevance and make sure to set strict CPC bids.

We see a CPC range between $7-10. Recently, LinkedIn has been recommending CPC bids of $11+ but we’ve learned that you can get just as impressive results if you manually bid. Our general advice is always to bid what you’re realistically willing to spend for the action. If a $7 click is absolutely unthinkable, then either LinkedIn may not be the platform for you could see what happens bidding $3!
